The public gallery is the artwork catalogue created from your published, active and visible works. Collectors can filter by category and select an artwork image to open its details.
On an individual artwork page, select any thumbnail, then select the large artwork image to view that image uncropped. Close it with the X, the page background or Escape.
Two ways to use it
- Your artist website: the Work page sits with Home, About, Exhibitions and Contact and uses Website → Site design.
- Your outside website: the standalone gallery can be embedded without the artist-website menu or footer. Get its code in Settings → Outside website and style it in Settings → Appearance.
View gallery → Preview this page opens the standalone version. Preview website in the Studio header opens the private artist-website draft; use Desktop and Phone to check it. Neither preview publishes changes or changes online status.
Whole artist website status
The red Website offline switch means visitors to the whole artist website see the coming-soon page. The green Website online switch means visitors see its last published version. Taking it offline keeps all pages, drafts, the published version and the address. Taking the whole website offline also closes public access to its standalone catalogue and artwork pages. Your signed-in owner preview remains available. The standalone gallery also has its own pause control; taking that catalogue out of pause does not take an offline website online.
Which works appear?
A work needs to be published, active and allowed to show on your website. Your works owns the records; View gallery can change their public order and pause the standalone catalogue. Appearance fact switches control what is shown, not whether a work is published.
When an artwork’s availability is shown as Sold, a small red dot appears immediately after the word on Work cards and on the individual artwork page—the gallery convention for a sold work.
Set the order of your works
- Open Your works → Arrange works.
- Select the works to move and choose where they should go.
- Read the proposed move, then choose Save new order.
- Reopen View gallery, its standalone preview or the website Work page to check the saved sequence.
Sold and available works keep the position you choose when they are shown. Category filters preserve that sequence. Private or hidden works do not become public when you arrange them.
