Getting paid separates three decisions so you can see exactly what is ready.
Studio ($29/month) or Studio Plus ($49/month) is required for payment workflows and private prices collectors can accept. On Free, Showcase and the trial, the relevant controls remain visible but locked. Click a locked control to see what Studio adds and Upgrade, or choose See plans to review your options. Saved settings and records are preserved.
Selected
The Selected card is your saved company choice. The other cards say Choose. Before your first saved choice, none is selected. Choosing a card alone does not authorize an account.
Account connected
Step 2 shows the saved account name, reference and last check. Verify that it is yours. The payment company can still require business activation or review. Use the displayed finish-setup action, then Check connection again.
Checkout is switched on
This means you have enabled collector checkout and the account and required setup are ready. If the page says checkout is off, customers cannot pay. Complete step 3 and save only after confirming the correct account. No checkout at all deliberately uses inquiries.
If setup is not finished
If your account is connected but the company still needs business information or is reviewing it, open Finish setup in Stripe, Finish setup in PayPal, or Finish setup in Square. Follow that company’s instructions, return here, and select Check connection again. You do not need to disconnect just to finish business activation.
If Connect is marked not available yet, Farbase has not enabled that connection. There is nothing technical for you to configure. PayPal’s general artist connection is awaiting platform approval. An existing saved PayPal connection is not proof that new artists can connect.
A sales-tax hold can remain after the payment account is connected. Follow the displayed Business & tax location guidance; contact Support if it remains blocked. Do not assume the connected badge clears that hold. Test mode is explicitly labelled and cannot receive real customer payments.
