Archiving and refunding are separate actions. Archive only removes a closed sale from the everyday Active sales list while preserving its history.
Before you archive
The sale should already be cancelled or refunded. If money needs to be returned to the collector, return it through the original payment method and record the refund in Studio Operations.
Then archive the closed sale
- Open Sales.
- Find the cancelled or refunded sale.
- Choose Archive.
Archiving does not contact the payment provider, move money, or create a refund. It is an organizational step for a sale that is already closed.
