Preview the standalone Work gallery
- Open View gallery from the sidebar.
- Choose Preview this page.
- In the new tab, try the category filters and open an artwork by selecting its image.
This preview shows the standalone gallery you can embed on an outside website. It has no artist-website menu or footer. The same preview is available in Settings → Outside website.
Preview the full artist website
Preview website is in the Studio header on every page, immediately before Search. On Website setup and Site design it opens the saved draft. In a Website page editor it includes the edits currently on screen, even before saving. Use Desktop and Phone, then return to editing. Preview does not publish anything and does not change whether the website is online.
Understand the red or green website switch
Website offline is red. Visitors to the whole artist website see the coming-soon page instead of artwork, pages, navigation or contact details. Website online is green. Visitors see the last published version. Taking the website offline keeps its pages, drafts, published version and address.
If a work is missing
Check that it is published, active and visible on your website. If the whole artist website is offline, preview can still show the draft while visitors see the coming-soon page. If the standalone preview works but the embedded page does not, check the code and instructions for the selected outside website builder.
Check button appearance in a private preview
The Contact preview shows your chosen button style, including its rollover effect. It cannot send messages. Visitors use the published online website to contact the artist.
