Private prices are for one person, one artwork, and one time period. They do not replace the artwork’s public price.
Studio ($29/month) or Studio Plus ($49/month) is required for payment workflows and private prices collectors can accept. On Free, Showcase and the trial, the relevant controls remain visible but locked. Click a locked control to see what Studio adds and Upgrade, or choose See plans to review your options. Saved settings and records are preserved.
Create the offer
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations and click Private prices.
- In Offer a price, open Who is it for? and choose the person. If the person is missing, first follow Add or edit someone in People.
- Open Which work? and choose the artwork.
- Under How are you pricing it?, choose An exact price I choose, My usual list price, or A percentage off.
- Enter the Price or Percent off that matches the option you chose.
- Enter Shipping if the private offer includes a separate shipping amount.
- Choose a Good until date when you want the offer to expire.
- Add a Note to yourself if useful. The note is not sent to the collector.
- Click Save this offer.
Copy the private link
- In Offers you have made, find the new offer.
- Click Copy the link.
- Send that private link to the intended collector by email or text. Anyone it is forwarded to can open a real offer. Sample offers are owner previews and cannot be opened or accepted by collectors.
The private amount never appears on your public website.
When the collector accepts
Acceptance is not payment. Read what happens when someone accepts a private price, then record the real sale when money actually moves.
Taxes and studio shipping rules
Sales tax is not built into the private price. For your studio’s normal shipping rules, use Settings → Shipping.
