People is the private contact list inside Studio Operations. It keeps the people around your studio connected to the artwork inquiries, offers and sales that involve them.
Who belongs in People?
You can keep collectors, people who are interested in a work, galleries, press contacts, and other studio relationships there.
Can people be added automatically?
Yes. When someone uses a public artwork inquiry form, Studio Operations can create or reuse a People record for that email address and connect the person to the artwork. See What happens when someone inquires about an artwork?
Is People public?
No. Your People list does not appear on your public website.
What do you want to do next?
- Add or edit someone in People.
- Record that someone asked about an artwork.

Read website messages
Choose People → Messages for artwork inquiries, studio visits and general messages from the published Contact form. Opening a message marks it read. A reply action opens your email application, where you review and send the reply.
See a person’s history
Open a person in People to see Purchases and offers, with links to the related sales and private offers. For inquiries, choose Messages directly in the Studio sidebar, or use the Messages tab within People.
Find someone in People
Use the Find box to search by name, email, phone or city. The list shows 25 people per page. Use the page controls to see more matches, or Show all to clear the search. Open the person’s name to see or edit their record.

Open Messages in the sidebar, or the Messages tab in People. Use the Find box to search by name, email, artwork or words in the message. Messages shows 25 records per page; use the page controls for further matches and Show all to clear the search.
