A collector can request a studio visit from an eligible public artwork page. The request uses the existing inquiry form. It is not a confirmed appointment.
What the collector does
- On the artwork page, choose Request a studio visit.
- Enter a name and email address, review or change the suggested message, and choose Send visit request.
- The confirmation explains that the request was received and is not a confirmed appointment.
Where the artist sees it
Studio Operations saves the request with the ordinary inquiry, person and artwork-interest records. There is no separate visit inbox or booking calendar. The request remains saved even if an email notification cannot be delivered.
What happens next
The artist decides whether to reply and arranges any date, address and other details directly with the collector. Farbase does not confirm a booking, disclose a private address or promise a reply.
Good to know
- Inquiry-email preferences and the connected mail service control whether the artist also receives an email.
- A saved request is not proof that an email arrived.
- Visit requests are available only where the artwork already permits inquiries.
- The discontinued room-preview feature is not part of a studio visit request.
