Studio Operations prepares the Lookbook message and private link, then hands that message to your own email application for sending.

Open the Lookbook’s Send it screen

  1. Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations and click Lookbooks.
  2. Click the Lookbook you want to send.
  3. Above the tab divider, click Send it, or click the Send it tab.

Make sure the private link is live

  1. Scroll to Is it live?.
  2. If it says The link is off, turn the switch on.
  3. Click Save.

Saving keeps you on Send it and shows confirmation. Copy and email actions remain disabled while the link is off. If there are no real works, you see Add your own works before sending this lookbook. Add your own works first. Samples never appear in the collector link or exported PDF; Preview labels them Sample, not sent to collectors.

Prepare and send the email

  1. In Write the email, choose someone from People under Who is it for. Their email fills Email address, which you can also type directly.
  2. Review the Subject.
  3. Review and edit the Message. The private Lookbook link is already included.
  4. Click Open in my mail program.
  5. Your normal email application opens with the message prepared. Review it there and send it.

If you keep the recipient in Studio Operations, manage them with People.

If your mail program does not open

Click Copy the message, then paste it into your normal email application. You can also copy the private link from A private link.

If you want a PDF instead

Under Or a PDF, click Export as PDF. The browser opens the printable Lookbook so you can save it as a PDF and attach it yourself.

Lookbook messages are different from Studio Operations transactional notifications such as artwork inquiry emails. See which notification types are connected now.
