Sales Statistics is not a separate sidebar page. Open it from Sales using the View statistics control.
Open Sales Statistics
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations.
- Click Sales.
- Click View statistics.
The statistics drawer opens with the heading Your statistics and the line Nothing here needs doing. It is only here when you want to look. Use Close when you are finished.
The month-by-month graph
The graph is headed Month by month, [year]. It compares You kept with Never went through.
This year so far
This group shows Kept, after shipping, Works sold, and Typical sale.
How the year is going
This group shows Best month, Busiest week, and Compared with last year.
What needs attention
This group shows Waiting to ship, Links that ran out, and Refunded.
Who is buying
This group shows Returning collectors, Found you through, and Furthest sale.
What You kept means
The kept amount is based on the artwork price minus shipping, fees, and refunds. Tax is excluded because Studio Operations does not treat collected tax as the artist’s money.
If there is not enough sales data yet
Statistics uses plain empty states such as None yet, no sales recorded yet, nothing waiting, and nothing refunded, depending on the measure.
If a sale happened outside your website and is missing from Studio Operations, follow Record a sale you made outside your website.
Which calendar day is used?
A sale date you entered stays on that date. When an older sale has only a recorded timestamp, its day and month use your Settings → Regional → Time zone.
