Use this when you want Studio Operations to email you, or stop emailing you, when someone asks about a work.
Turn artwork inquiry emails on or off
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations.
- At the very bottom of the sidebar, click the Settings gear icon. The Settings drawer opens from the right.
- Click Account.
- Scroll to Email preferences.
- Find Someone asks about a work.
- Turn the switch on or off.
- Scroll to the bottom of the drawer and click Save changes.
When the switch is on
A public artwork inquiry is still recorded inside Studio Operations, and the system also sends the artist an email notification through Farbase’s transactional email service.
The message is sent from Studio Operations <notifications@farbase.one>. For an artwork inquiry, the visitor’s email is used as the reply address so you can reply directly to the person who asked about the work.
If it reaches the wrong inbox, follow Choose where Studio Operations notifications are sent.
When the switch is off
The inquiry can still be recorded in Studio Operations, but the inquiry email notification is not sent. You can still find the person in People and the relationship under Who wants it.
