Sale paperwork uses your saved artwork, sale, collector and studio details. You choose a document for a specific task.
The five sale documents
- Invoice: what the collector owes.
- Receipt: a record of payment received.
- Packing slip: the contents and delivery information to put inside the box.
- Shipping label: a large To/From address label to print and attach outside the box. It has no postage or courier barcode.
- Shipping summary: your shipment record, including addresses, packing, carrier, tracking, status, dates and recorded costs.
You can also open Sales, find the sale and choose Print the paperwork. This opens the artwork’s Paperwork tab for that particular sale, where you choose the document you need.
From is your studio, using Settings → Studio. To or Bill to is the collector linked to this sale, using their saved address and contact details in People. Correct the source record and reopen the document if anything is missing. Missing information is shown as not recorded; a document does not fill in an address for you.
Certificate of Authenticity
The certificate belongs to the artwork and is available before a sale. It prints on one page with the artwork image, identifying facts and space for your signature and date. The five sale documents need a recorded sale and its collector details. Printing any document does not take payment, purchase postage, insure the work or notify a courier.
