The shipping price a buyer sees belongs to the artwork. It is separate from your private estimate of what shipping may cost you.
Set the buyer price
- Open the artwork and choose Price.
- Find Shipping price for the buyer.
- Choose Use my studio setting, Included in the asking price, Charged separately, or Not included — quote separately.
- If shipping is charged separately, enter the amount to add. Zero is allowed.
- Add an optional buyer-facing shipping note if useful.
- Choose Save price, then check the saved buyer-price preview.
Buyer price and private cost are different
Shipping charged to the buyer is added to the asking price when you choose a separate charge. What shipping costs you remains a private estimate for your own proceeds. Farbase never copies that private estimate into the buyer charge.
Offers and sales keep their terms
A new private offer or manual sale can use the artwork’s current shipping choice or an amount entered for that agreement. Existing offers and sales keep the shipping terms saved with them even if you later change the artwork or studio default.
What Farbase does not do
Farbase does not calculate carrier rates, buy labels, book couriers, choose packaging or decide where you ship.
