Studio Operations guides you through creating a new studio. To sign up, start at the account-creation page. You do not need a payment card to create the account.
Start signup
Open studio.farbase.one/signup/, or choose Create an account on the sign-in page.
Signup then takes you through Welcome → Your name → Currency → Payments → Sample content → Create account → Confirm your number → Finish.
Set up the studio
Enter the artist or display name exactly as you want it shown. Choose your website address, such as johndoe.farbase.one. We suggest an address by joining your name without spaces or hyphens: John Doe becomes johndoe. You can edit the suggestion. Existing studios keep their current address. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. If it is taken or reserved, choose another. Some addresses are reserved for Farbase, such as Farbase and service names, and offensive words are not accepted; you will see That web address is unavailable. Please choose another. An available address is reserved when your account is created, and your website stays private until you publish. Choose the studio currency. The payment choice records a preference only during signup. Nothing is connected or charged at this stage.
Choose whether you want the private sample studio included. The sample content is there so you can explore Studio Operations with realistic examples before replacing them with your own work.
Create the account
Enter your email address twice. Use a password with at least 12 characters that includes one symbol such as $ # ? !. Letters may be lowercase, uppercase or both, and numbers are welcome but not required. Type it again in Confirm password. If you change the first password, confirmation clears so you can re-enter it. Enter your mobile number and choose Send my code. Enter the six-digit SMS code, then choose Build my studio. One studio can use each verified mobile number; landline and internet calling numbers cannot be used. Twilio processes the number to send and check your code. Farbase keeps a protected identifier to prevent duplicate accounts and an encrypted copy of the verified number for account administration and support, accessible in the owner’s subscriber view.
If a code does not arrive, check the number and use Send the code again. Wait at least 30 seconds between requests. Codes expire; request another when prompted. Too many attempts temporarily pause verification.
If the email already belongs to an account, use the existing account instead of creating another one.
Let Studio Operations prepare it
A small pixel robot shows the setup progress while Studio Operations prepares the studio. Keep the tab open while this runs. Completed setup steps are saved so retrying or reloading does not deliberately create duplicate sample records.
If a setup step fails, choose Retry this step.
Enter your studio
When setup is ready, choose Enter your new studio. Studio Operations takes you directly to Today, already signed in.
Your starting trial
New signups start a 30-day Showcase trial with room for 20 stored artworks and no payment workflows. No card is required and nothing is charged automatically.
Current plan names are Free, Showcase, Studio, and Studio Plus. To choose a paid plan, open Settings → Subscription and follow the available checkout controls. A paid invoice must be confirmed before paid access starts; the trial does not charge automatically.
If you chose sample content
The sample studio includes example artwork and Microsite content. Those sample examples do not count toward your plan’s artwork capacity. You can explore it privately and remove or restore the examples later. Sample content does not publish your Microsite, send messages, take payments, or restart your trial.
Meet your studio
The first time you enter Today, Studio Operations opens a four-minute narrated welcome tour in a Studio Operations modal. The film uses real Studio screens to show the path through your first artwork, the Website editor, and the visitor-facing website.
Choose Watch the 4-minute tour to begin. Sound starts at normal volume after that click. The tour waits for you to press Play. Use the player controls to adjust or mute the sound.
You can choose Skip setup or the close button at any time, without a confirmation step. Skipping does not change or publish any artwork. When the film ends, choose Add your first artwork to begin.
To watch the same film again later, choose Getting started near the bottom of the Studio navigation. Closing a replay does not change your saved onboarding choice.
If your session changes during signup
If signup says your session was refreshed, your details remain on the page. Choose the same button again to retry deliberately; Studio does not automatically resend a code or create an account. If it instead asks you to reload, reload before continuing. If you are already signed in and want to create a different account, sign out first.
Your local time
Signup uses your browser’s time zone when it can identify a supported zone. Check or change it afterward in Settings → Regional → Time zone.
Confirm your email address
After your account is created, Farbase sends a confirmation email with your artist and studio name. Choose Confirm my address in the message, then Confirm my email on the page that opens. The link and six-digit code expire after 24 hours and can be used once.
If you prefer the code, sign in and open Settings → Account → Confirm email. Enter the six digits from the message. You can also choose Send a new confirmation email there; a new message replaces the earlier link and code. After confirmation, Account shows Email confirmed. This confirms your existing email; it does not change your password, sign-in email or mobile verification.
