Use Being held when you want Studio Operations to show that an artwork is reserved for someone but has not been sold yet.
Set the artwork to Being held
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations and click Your works.
- Open the artwork.
- Choose the Price tab.
- Under Where and how it sells, open Right now it is.
- Choose Being held, then choose Save price.
Studio Operations changes the artwork’s availability to Being held and records the change in the artwork history.
If money has already changed hands
Do not stop at Being held. Record the transaction in Sales so the collector, amount, paperwork and shipping remain connected.
