A Certificate of Authenticity is the artwork document that identifies you as the artist and travels with the work. Unlike the five sale documents, Studio Operations lets you open it even before a sale has been recorded.
Open the certificate
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations and click Your works.
- Open the artwork.
- Choose the Paperwork tab.
- Under You can print this now, find Certificate of Authenticity.
- Choose Open it.
- On the certificate page, choose Print or save as PDF.
If the artwork information is wrong
Go back to the artwork and correct the title, year, medium, dimensions or other artwork facts, then reopen the certificate.
If your artist or studio details are wrong
Update Settings → You or Settings → Studio, then reopen the certificate.

One page for each artwork
The certificate uses one consistent page with the artwork image and an organised facts area. Review the artwork title, artist, medium, dimensions, year, edition and reference, then print and sign/date the designated spaces. The software does not sign the artwork on your behalf. Check that print preview contains one page and turn off the browser’s extra headers and footers if they appear.
After a full refund
A new certificate is unavailable for a fully refunded sale. The sale history remains in Studio Operations.
