Use Delete artwork entry when you want an artwork to disappear from Studio and every public view. Studio keeps it privately in Recently deleted for 30 days so an accidental deletion can be reversed. To keep the work active in Studio but hide it from visitors, use Take it off your site instead.
Move an artwork to Recently deleted
- Open Your works in the left sidebar, then open the artwork.
- Go to the bottom of the artwork page.
- Below the horizontal line, choose the red Delete artwork entry button.
- Read the warning. It names the artwork and explains that the work is hidden immediately from Studio’s ordinary lists, your artist website, outside-site gallery, Lookbooks, wall views and offers.
- Tick the confirmation box, then choose Move to Recently deleted. The button stays unavailable until you tick the box.
Choose Go back or press Escape to leave without deleting anything. Reopening the warning requires a fresh check of the box.
Restore within 30 days
- In the lower part of the left sidebar, choose Settings → Recently deleted.
- Find the artwork and check the days remaining.
- Choose Restore.
A restored artwork returns as a private draft marked not for sale. It is not republished and old offers are not reopened automatically. Review the work before deliberately publishing or offering it again.
After 30 days
When the recovery period ends, the artwork becomes due for automatic permanent deletion from active Studio systems. Subscribers do not receive an early delete-forever button. A protected sale, issued collector paperwork, live rental or another required historical record prevents unsafe deletion.
If Studio refuses to delete it
An artwork with a recorded sale, collector sale paperwork or another protected record cannot be deleted through this action. Those records must remain connected. To remove a published work from view while keeping its records, use Take it off your site.
If you only want it off your website
