Studio Operations can build printable documents from the artwork and sale records you already keep.
First, choose the document you actually need
If you are not sure what an invoice, receipt, packing slip, shipping summary, or Certificate of Authenticity is for, start with What is sale paperwork?.
Open the paperwork from an artwork
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations and click Your works.
- Open the artwork.
- Click the Paperwork tab.
- Under You can print this now, click Open it for the Certificate of Authenticity, or scroll to Sale paperwork and click the sale document you need.
- The document opens in a new tab.
- Click Print or save as PDF.
If the sale documents are not clickable
The artwork does not have a recorded sale yet. Follow Record a sale you made outside your website, then return to the artwork’s Paperwork tab.

- Print a packing slip for an artwork sale
- Print a shipping summary for an artwork sale
Where the information comes from
The documents reuse the artwork record, the sale, the collector in People, and your studio details.
Open from Sales
You can also open Sales, find the sale and choose Print the paperwork. This opens the artwork’s Paperwork tab for that particular sale, where you choose the document you need.
Check sender and recipient
From is your studio, using Settings → Studio. To or Bill to is the collector linked to this sale, using their saved address and contact details in People. Correct the source record and reopen the document if anything is missing. Missing information is shown as not recorded; a document does not fill in an address for you.
Print an address label
On Paperwork, choose Shipping label between Packing slip and Shipping summary. Check the large recipient address and the smaller return address, then Print or save as PDF. The address label fits on one Letter sheet. It is an address label only; arrange postage, tracking and insurance with your courier separately.
