A Lookbook is a private presentation made from artworks already in Studio Operations. Creating one does not change the artwork records themselves.
Create the Lookbook
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations and click Lookbooks.
- At the top of the Lookbooks page, click New lookbook.
- Enter a Name; it is shown on the cover of Preview, the shared link and PDF.
- Add an Introduction if you want one.
- Click Create lookbook.
Add artworks
- Inside the new Lookbook, stay on the Works tab.
- If it is empty, click Choose works. If it already has works, click Add works.
- Select the artworks you want to include.
- Click Add selected.
- Back on the Works tab, drag the artwork cards if you want to change their order, the new order saves automatically.
Your own draft works can be included without publishing them to your gallery. Sample works are labelled Sample, not sent to collectors in Preview and are excluded from the shared link and PDF.
Change how it looks
Click How it looks to control what the presentation shows and its visual treatment. Click Save and keep editing before using Preview it. Those choices belong to this Lookbook only. Your public gallery has separate Appearance settings.
Turn the private link on
- Click the Send it tab.
- Scroll to Is it live?.
- Turn the switch on so it says The link is live.
- Click Save.
Saving keeps you on Send it and shows confirmation. Copy and email actions are disabled until the link is live. If there are no real works, you see Add your own works before sending this lookbook. Add your own works before sharing or exporting.
Send the Lookbook
Continue to Send a Lookbook for the exact email and link steps. If the person is not already in your contacts, first use Add or edit someone in People.
General settings, Preview it and Send it remain together above the tab divider. The Lookbook design is separate from your website’s Site design.
Choose Letter portrait or landscape
Open General settings above the tabs. Under Shape of the whole lookbook, choose Portrait or Landscape, then click Save settings. This applies to every page, including the cover and PDF.
Lookbook pages use US Letter: 8.5 × 11 inches in portrait, or 11 × 8.5 inches in landscape. On a smaller screen, the whole sheet scales down while keeping its proportions. Artwork stays complete and vertically centered within its image area. Choose Preview it to check the result and Export as PDF to print or save it.
Confirm before removing anything
Removing a work from a Lookbook opens a confirmation naming that work. Go back keeps it in place. Confirming removes it only from this selection; the artwork stays in Your works and can be added again. Removing a saved Lookbook logo also asks before saving.
Delete lookbook names the Lookbook and warns that its deletion cannot be undone. Its private link stops working; the artworks themselves are kept. Read the warning, then choose Go back or confirm the deletion.
