Settings → Subscription is for your Farbase Studio plan, separate from the payment company you connect to sell artworks.
You can save the last work allowed by your plan normally. An action that would exceed the limit brings up an upgrade offer before the extra work is saved: Free offers Showcase ($9/month, 20 works); Showcase offers Studio ($29/month, 150 works); Studio offers Studio Plus ($49/month, 500 works). For example, work 150 saves on Studio; attempting work 151 offers Studio Plus. Choose Upgrade to review the selected plan and any charge with Stripe before confirming, or Remove a work first. At 500 works there is no higher plan. Drafts cannot bypass the limit.
Your plans
- Free: $0, up to 10 counted works.
- Showcase: $9/month, up to 20 counted works, your artist website and Studio tools, without artwork payment workflows.
- Studio: $29/month, up to 150 counted works, including payment workflows.
- Studio Plus: $49/month, the same toolkit with up to 500 counted works.
AI writing assistance and artwork import are included on every plan. Record spreadsheets and artwork image downloads are available on every plan, including after a trial ends, through the account export controls. Each studio has one login. Custom domains are planned only for Studio and Studio Plus subscribers and are not available in the current build.
New studios start with a 30-day Showcase trial. No card is required and the trial never charges automatically. Drafts and published works count. Sold works never count. Samples, Recently deleted and returned works do not count. Unsold archived works still count; archiving does not make room for another work. Restoring or undoing Sold is checked before it adds a work back to the count. Unarchiving an already-counted work does not use another slot.
Start a paid subscription
- Open Settings → Subscription.
- Choose your paid plan and check the billing email.
- Choose Save and continue. Stripe opens with the amount and billing interval to review.
- Complete payment in Stripe and return to Studio. Studio must confirm the paid invoice before paid access starts.
Opening checkout alone does not charge you or change your plan. If checkout is temporarily unavailable, the page says so and your current access remains. If confirmation is delayed, do not start another payment: reopen Subscription and contact Support if the status does not update.
Invoices, card and cancellation
After a subscription is linked, Open billing page, Invoices and Cancel subscription open Stripe’s secure billing page in a new tab. Use that page to see invoices, manage your card, review available plan changes or cancel. Farbase does not store your complete card details.
Review the amount and timing Stripe shows before confirming a plan change. Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the paid period; it does not immediately remove the time already paid for. Your records are preserved when access limits change.
Billing email
Change Billing email and choose Save changes. For a linked subscription, Studio confirms the change with Stripe before saving it locally. This does not change your sign-in email.
Need help?
Use Report a billing problem safely. Include the invoice reference, amount, date and displayed message. Never send complete card numbers, passwords or security codes.
Commissions and the Free-plan credit
Commissions are included on Studio and Studio Plus. The Commissions row in the plan comparison uses the same availability. On Free and Showcase, Add a commission remains visible but locked. Commission invoices support Zelle or check for now; a card-payment link is not available yet.
Free-plan public pages show Studio Operations™ by farbase.one in the footer. Paid plans do not show this Free-plan credit.
