Studio Operations subscription billing is available from Settings → Subscription. It is separate from the payment company you connect so collectors can pay for artworks.
Start or manage a subscription
- Open the Settings gear at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Choose Subscription.
- For a first paid subscription, choose a plan, confirm the billing email and select Save and continue to review secure Stripe checkout.
- For a linked subscription, Open billing page and Invoices open Stripe’s secure billing page for your card and invoices.
- To stop the next renewal, choose Cancel subscription, tick the confirmation box and choose Cancel renewal. Your studio stays open until the date shown, nothing is deleted, and the month already started is not refunded. The Subscription screen then shows the end date with a Keep my subscription button that undoes the cancellation.
Opening checkout alone does not charge you or change your plan. Paid access begins only after Studio confirms the paid invoice. If checkout is temporarily unavailable, your current access remains unchanged.
Know the boundary
Artwork-sale invoices and receipts are different from Studio Operations subscription invoices. Connecting an artwork payment provider does not pay for your Studio plan, and subscribing to Studio does not connect collector checkout.
For plan prices, artwork capacities and feature availability, see Where subscription and billing controls live.
If something looks wrong
Do not send card numbers, passwords or security codes. Follow Report a billing problem safely and include the invoice reference, amount, date and exact message shown.
Designated test Studios
If Subscription says Sandbox billing for this test Studio, no real money is charged. Use only Stripe test payment details. This is a separately configured test account; it does not change billing for ordinary Studios. A test account without sandbox billing cannot start a new live checkout.
