Use this when you want to change the studio-wide shipping default that Studio Operations uses for artworks that do not have their own shipping price.
Change the shipping mode
- Look at the left sidebar in Studio Operations.
- At the very bottom of the sidebar, click the Settings gear icon. The Settings drawer opens from the right.
- Click Shipping.
- At the top, find How shipping is handled.
- Choose Included in the price, Worked out per order, or Ask me for a quote.
- Scroll to the bottom of the drawer and click Save changes.
What the three choices mean
- Included in the price can supply a checkout-ready shipping amount of zero for artworks using the studio default.
- Worked out per order does not make Studio Operations calculate a carrier rate. It means the amount still has to be decided for the specific order or artwork.
- Ask me for a quote leaves shipping without a fixed checkout amount.
For an individual artwork, you can override the studio default under Price → Shipping price for the buyer and either include shipping or enter an exact separate charge.
